2014 MOCK DRAFT, staying put at #6

Round 1: Jake Matthews, LT Texas A&M 6'5'' 305lbs. Take him in the first round because Clowney, Mack, and Robinson will all be gone. Immediate starter and helps keep Matt Ryan on his feet.

Round 2: Trent Murphy, DE Stanford 6'6'' 260 lbs. Has a high motor and can help out immediately. Huge defensive end who has the ability to swat down passes as well as beat out some guys to get sacks.

Round 3: Jeremy Hill, RB LSU 6'2'' 240 lbs. Most NFL ready running back in the draft IMO. Not only can he get to the second level just as quick as a Tre Mason but he is a monster and has great ball security. A tandem between him and Quiz could be dangerous.

Round 4; Dominique Easley, DT Florida 6'2'' 290 lbs. Getting depth on the defensive line with this one. One of ATL's biggest problems last year was stopping the run and this guy could help Soliai and Jackson.

Round 4 (comp): Dri Archer, RB/WR Kent State 5'8'' 180 lbs. I think everybody knew who this guy was after the combine. If he's there, I say the falcons take him; you can never have too many weapons.

Round 5: Jacob Pedersen, TE Wisconsin 6'5'' 240 lbs. I think this would be a steal. His blocking is questionable but his big play ability at his size is a huge upside. Could have multiple 2 TE sets with him and Toilolo.

Round 6: Vinnie Sunseri, S Alabama 6'0'' 200 lbs. Had injury issues but played amazingly under one of the best defensive back coaches in college. Could be a late round steal from a Top-heavy safety draft class.

Round 7: Lavelle Westbrooks, CB Georgia Southern 5'11'' 190 lbs. Depth at corner from a guy who has good instincts at corner but not the speed of one of the flashier choices. Could still help out the team depth wise.

Round 7 (comp): J.C. Copeland, FB LSU 6'0'' 275 lbs. WHy not just take LSU's backfield? This guy is a monster, would get playing time first year.

ROund 7 (comp) Trey Burton, TE/WR Florida 6'2'' 225 lbs. With the 2nd to last pick of the draft you can't really steal anyone. This pick is purely because I saw this guy play each time Fla and UGA played and it seems ridiculous that he would go undrafted. Great talent and if he's there this late it would be a huge pick up.
