What can Mike Tice bring to a depleted O-Line?

Late Tuesday night the Atlanta Falcons reached a 2 year agreement with former Bears O-Line Coach Mike Tice. Tice was not on an NFL coaching staff this past season, he was one of the many coaches to leave the Bears as a result of their new coach Marc Trestman. Tice has had quite a few positions on an NFL staff such as Tight Ends Coach, Head Coach, O-Line Coach, and Offensive Coordinator. In 2002 Tice’s Vikings led the league in rushing and in 2003 led in total offense. It is obvious Tice’s offenses have had great success in the past. While Tice is not the Falcons offensive coordinator, I believe he can bring in an extra offensive mindset to go along with current OC Dirk Koetter. One obvious fact from the Falcons this past year was a lack of running game. It is to be noted that in his final year at Chicago the Bears averaged over 100 ypg on the ground. The passing yards weren’t exactly something to write home about under Tice, but let’s remember what Matt Ryan did with what little he had this year. Tice is a guy known to bring fire and aggression to an O-Line a very important characteristic the Falcons have been missing. If we can add some solid pieces via free agency and the draft I believe Tice will have plenty of pieces to go to work. If Tice is the guy that can develop talent and he introduces some zone blocking the Falcons O-Line from last year will never be seen again. Tice will bring in a fresh perspective and a new mindset that will bring help to a much depleted O-Line. With that being said: Who would you like to see in a Falcons uniform next year via free agency or the draft?
