P. Worrilow continues to lead Atlanta defensively. The fact is that #49 isn't leaving the Atlanta brass no choice but to take notice and acknowledge his worth. His first play tonight is a sack, really! Is it even an argument at this point. He is making plays while others are not. Worrilow is Good for the Falcons.
Clearly, Atlanta's does not possess or desire the killer instinct to win games. Yes, it is the preseason but we had fans that travel to Baltimore and paid good money to see their beloved Falcons play well and win. That can't happen when you allow a team to have hope at making a comeback and winning the game. Simply put, we had no reason losing tonight. We're up 20 to 10, it's the 3rd quarter, we're in the red zone ,have momentum with a time consuming drive and we settle for a field goal. Haven't we complain about this enough already. This is Bad for the Falcons.
What can I say about the 3rd string secondary unit, it is Ugly for the Falcons! Anyone who watched the game realized this point. Taylor was 5/9 for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns, both of which badly beat our secondary. That's 2 weeks in a row that the 3rd string secondary unit failed to play fundamental football.
Overall Atlanta dominated Baltimore for more than 3 quarters and I have hope in the offensive line and Nolan and the play of the defense. Tonight's game show me that the Falcons, with the help of the coaching staff, can be better than last year's team. Scary isn't it. That's my take on the game, what's yours.
