2013 NFL Draft Second And Third Round Live Blog

Al Bello

The Falcoholic has all the draft action live as it happens.

We have reached the second day of the 2013 NFL Draft, encompassing the second and third rounds. There's plenty of talent on the board, and each team will have five minutes to decide which prospect they want. It's a little faster than the first round, blissfully.

The Falcons have but one pick coming in the second, and barring a trade down or a very unlikely one up, they won't have anything in the third. That increases the need to get a quality player in the second, but thankfully there's a lot of talent still on the board.

Follow along with all the action here!

10:35 p.m. The Seahawks trade up and take us home for the night, picking up Christine Michael. He and Robert Turbin will likely platoon at the position down the line. Goodnight, folks!

10:17 p.m. The Patriots are really into Rutgers players.

9:58 p.m. 49ers pick up Corey Lemonier. They're deep with pass rushers and adding more potential, though Lemonier is no lock to be great or even good.

9:43 p.m. Saints got their nose tackle, picking up John Jenkins. That 3-4 shift won't be immediately successful, but they're building pieces.

9:25 p.m. There will be growing pains, but Saints might have gotten their LT of the future with Armstead. Damn.

9:20 p.m. Josh Freeman damn well better be looking over his shoulder. Bucs have Mike Glennon now.

9:03 p.m. Honey Badger to Arizona. At last.

8:58 p.m. Sorry guys, long delay. Alford is a nice fit for Atlanta, though going corner again raises eyebrows.

8:22 p.m. Lacy is in freefall. Montee Ball to Denver. One pick to go.

8:11 p.m. 49ers get Vance MacDonald.

8:00 p.m. The Bengals take Margus Hunt. Great gamble for them. I like their draft a lot.

7:58 p.m. Patriots draft Jamie Collins. I liked him.

7:53 p.m. Redskins grab Amerson. These corners are going earlier than projected.

7:45 p.m. Teams must be concerned about Lacy. Le'Veon Bell is the second back to go off the board before him.

7:43 p.m. Gavin Escobar to the Cowboys. I like the pick. Helps out an already potent offense.

7:38 p.m. Back-to-back inside linebackers here. The Panthers wind up with Kawann Short. Shoring up the middle of that line.

7:28 p.m. Buccaneers make a nice pick, getting a freefalling Banks. Their secondary is greatly improved.

7:15 p.m. The damn 49ers take Tank Carradine, because damn them.

7:08 p.m. Jets end Geno Smith's long fall! Geno's their new franchise guy. Adios, Mark Sanchez.

7:05 p.m. Chargers finally end the plunge for Manti Te'o. Good value for them here.

7:02 p.m. Quick run on talent. Bengals Giovanni Bernard, Jaguars get Jonathon Cyprien and the Lions get Darius Slay, a corner I like a lot.
