Normally I do a belief on who we should sign and turn it into an offseason thing. I don't expect us to sign anyone else until after preseason cuts. I think Osi and SJax is more than enough for what we have. However I will do a mock draft to get an idea of where we are going. We have 11 picks in this years draft and I foresee two things. 1) We package our 1st and 4th to move up a few spots if one of the following five players are available Xavier Rhodes, Arthur Brown, Barkevious Mingo, Ezekiel Ansah, Star Lotulelei OR 2) We trade down for an extra pick next year (probably 3rd or 4th) and select Darius Slay, Kawann Short, Margus Hunt. I do not see us picking at 30 and honestly I'm perfectly fine with that.
1st rounder- Arthur Brown. I'm in the consensus of not being worried about where we are on our corners. Theres too much talent out there for us not to get someone on a prove it deal. Arthur Brown does 2 things that I love. Tackle and Cover Tight Ends
2nd rounder- Johnathan Hankins. Babineaux's eventual replacement. Seriously the guy is huge and knows how to make quarterbacks feel uncomfortable.
3rd rounder- Tharold Simon. Reach? Maybe but the guy is tall and lanky. He played for LSU and was known to be great on breaking up plays
4th rounder- Chris Harper. Roddy White is going into his thirties. Eventually we need to consider adding depth into wide receiver. He needs seasoning but has the tools to succeed.
4th rounder- David Quessenberry. OL depth is a hot commodity with this team and this definitely helps.
5th rounder- Trevardo Williams. This is a DE who runs a 4.57. He's known for speed because he's from Jamaica and would probably be best suited as more LB then DE. The last two seasons he recorded 24 sacks.
In terms of the next 4 picks. It's TE, SS, RB, DT
