Roddy White wants the Falcons to sign a pass rusher

Roddy White is now starting his own Twitter campaign for the Falcons to sign pass rushers. He'd make a good recruiter.

In the past week the Atlanta Falcons signed/agreed to terms with Steven Jackson, Tony Gonzalez, Sam Baker and William Moore. A significant haul of impact players indeed, but presumably not enough to put them over the top for the 2013 season. The defensive line needs boost, and Roddy White is ready to make it happen.

The Falcons wide receiver utilized his social media skills Friday morning in his attempt to advocate a pass rusher signing with Atlanta. Sorry, Thomas Dimitroff, ain't nobody got time for patiently waiting around while you peruse the market.

Dwight Freeney, if you visit Atlanta, you better not leave the facilities without signing a deal. Roddy's going to make you an offer you can't refuse.

But wait, there's more!

It's worth noting White is currently in Africa doing his part to save the world. You hear that, top free agent pass rushers? Roddy White is out there fighting disease and hardship, but winning a Super Bowl remains his top priority. Stop being so selfish and sign with the Falcons already.

I bet Freeney, Abraham and Osi Umenyiora would sign if Matt Ryan tweeted at them, because why wouldn't they? It's Matt Ryan, bro.
