The NFL has told teams the cap has increased slightly from 2012.
We had to figure the NFL's salary cap would increase slightly in 2013, and it has. Too bad it's only $200,000.
NFL.com's Ian Rappoport reports that teams have been told to expect a cap of $121.1 million in 2013, which gives the Falcons a tiny bit more money to play around with as they attempt to improve their team. That could make the difference between signing a relatively inexpensive free agent and letting the guy pass by, so hey. I'll take it.
