It won't be long before workouts start at the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine.
The Atlanta Falcons are quite set at quarterback, thank you very much. They could use one cheap veteran or promising young receiver, but that's not a huge position of need, either.
That means today's arrivals aren't likely to pique your interest overmuch...except for the running backs. No one expects the Falcons to sink a first round pick into the position or perhaps even a second round one, but this is an exceedingly deep class, filled with players who probably function best as part of a platoon. Thankfully, that's exactly what the Falcons need, and they should be able to find a player in the middle rounds of the draft that can pair well with Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling.
Keep an eye on those arrivals today and prepare to talk drills. We should know soon whether Eddie Lacy can retain his spot as the de facto top back in the class, and whether a guy like Mike Gillislee or Stepfan Taylor is on the team's radar.
