Its as simple as 1, 2, 3.
Prior to the beginning of the 2013 regular season, an interview need be held.
An interview with one Matt Ryan being asked that question with the increasingly overused term pertaining to an NFL Qb's level of play. "Do you consider yourself elite?"
Elisha Manning was asked, and he was mocked upon receipt of his answer.
Joe Flacco was asked, and he was made the laughing stock of the preseason.
Matt Ryan must be asked this question and he must answer unequivocally, "Yes."
Will the pundits laugh? Maybe, but who cares, they've already laughed at the whole of the Falcons organization all last season. I'd prefer they follow suit, as the trend has been that the Qb in question laughs last.
The Mattural is a humble guy, however I think he is at the level of play to answer that question honestly with a yes, and it not be a stretch for him.
I think this is very important because of the power of words. Life can be given to an idea or concept once it's spoken.
When people aspire to do things they often write down self affirmations, plans, or goals. Sharing these things with others can provide great motivational tools in the form of feedback, criticisms, and support.
That said, Matty Ice needs to get the word out, that oh yeah, he's elite. Speak it, and some Super Bowl wins into existence!
