That's right, Asante's mom passed away today. I only heard that she passed away, I'm not sure of any other details.

This comes at a pretty rough time; but thankfully the Falcons have the bye week so that he can be with his family and not have to worry too much about the events coming up this weekend.

Still, Asante is only 30-ish. Losing your mom at any age is difficult as it is, but at 30? That's far too young, and unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about it.
