Grant Halverson
The Atlanta Falcons are healthy as they possibly can be for the Seattle Seahawks game.
The Falcons needed to be at full health to play their best football against the Seahawks. Thankfully, they're almost there.
The bad news is that John Abraham is questionable. I fully expect that he'll play, but he may be a little limited. An Abe at 90% is better than most defensive ends in the NFL, but it's a cause for concern. If there was ever a game for those young defensive ends to step up, this would be the one.
Chris Owens, unfortunately, is out. The Falcons have a little less depth at cornerback and a little less team speed for special teams, which also isn't ideal.
But the Seahawks have lost their top pass rusher. Their best running back has a sprained ankle of unknown severity. The Falcons have one banged-up pass rusher and a cornerback who is fourth on the depth chart out. That's pretty lucky.
Dunta Robinson is good to go, William Moore is listed as probable and the rest of the team has had two weeks to rest up from the nicks and bruises they've accumulated over the season. This is a healthy football team, and that bodes well.
