Seems to keep a competitive advantage, we will need to follow suit with whats now legal, and get our own bounty program started.
Obviously tongue in cheek, but what else is there to say?
If it is now OK to pay players to hurt other players, it will only be a matter of time before there are bounty programs on every team. And to be honest, why not. This is the way things work now. If it is legal, its fair game. If you do not do everything you can to win in the NFL, its only a matter of time before your passed by. The NFLPA is strongly working against player safety in this case and that should tell you all you need to know about what they are protecting the rights of; it has nothing to do with the players, just their wallets.
Its tough to hear things like this. Its a black eye for the league. But to me, its a giant black and blue face to the organization that should be protecting its clients safety, but instead they decided to provide lawyers to keep power out of Goodell's hands. I'm not a huge Goodell fan, but he was right here.
I'm just at a loss really.
