Falcoholic Fantasy Advice

G'day guys,

The 2012 NFL season kicks off in a few days, and with that comes the greatest and most manliest of manly pastimes ever ever - Fantasy Football.

As far as I'm aware all of the Falcoholic leagues have already drafted, but I'm sure many of you have other leagues running and you could use some advice. I figure every week if a Falcoholic poster made a post like this so we could all ask eachother for help on whatever issues we've got. I'm aware there were a few regulars who posted similar threads last season, sorry for stepping on your toes but I need some advice early so I'm taking it to the streets.

Situation: 8 man fantasy league, non-PPR, standard 1 point for 10 yards rushing/receiving. I just completed a trade that saw me give up Brees, Andre Johnson and Reggie Bush for Rodgers, Boldin and Ryan Mathews. Mathews is injured for the week, but long term I was happy with it. However, I am a little short at RB this week as a result.

My options, playing 2 RBs only (my team is WR stacked and my flex is covered already with VJax):

D. McFadden vs SD

K. Smith vs STL

I. Redman @ DEN

Clearly starting McFadden, so it comes down to Smith vs Redman - leaning towards Smith purely based on STL's defense being nowhere up to scratch with Denver's, but any help would be great. Got a few more selection dilemmas for the week, but this one is the most pressing.

Over to you, any dilemmas or answers, comment below.

Cheers all!
