This is a special football, the kind of football team that strolls casually into a stadium all the way across the country after a short week and promptly destroys their host.

The Falcons led 20-0 at the half and never looked back, overcoming a few offensive miscues and a slight relaxing of the defense in the latter parts of the game to come away with a win. That moves them to 3-0, which is a most excellent record. I love it.

Better yet, the Falcons get to take a full week's rest and then play the reeling Panthers at home next weekend. This is the best start to the season we could reasonably ask for, and I'm hoping they'll keep it going.

Keep the discussion rolling. Recaps and more on the way tomorrow morning.
