Arizona State announced that former Falcon RB Art Malone is dead. Art was a great player for the Falcons. My lasting memory of Art is from a game in 1973. The Falcons were cruising to a playoff spot (9-3 in a 14 game season) when Art and TE Jim Mitchell got into a fight on the field, in the huddle. Collapse of game, collapse of season. Falcons finished 9-5 and out of the playoffs. RIP Art.
