These stats come from Pro Football Focus' 2012 Fantasy Guide. I highly recommend it to all football fans. There is a ton of information there that doesn't just pertain to fantasy football. Best of all, it's just $4.99. Follow this link if you're interested, and follow me after the jump to get a glimpse at just how good our guy is.
The table below shows us Matt Ryan's numbers per game over the last three years.

aDOT stands for Average Depth of Target, a new but valuable stat that PFF introduced last year (learn more here). The aC% is Completions + Drops, which as you see, raises Ryan's completion percentage up significantly. Why is it such a vast difference? According to PFF, the Falcons were second in the league with 43 dropped passes. Wow. That's a lot, and I think we all knew it was high, but I would not have guessed that number. That is a significant incline from 2009 and 2010, so hopefully the Falcons regress in that area.
PFF ranked Ryan with a 92.45 rating last year which was the fourth best among all NFL QBs. PFF expects Ryan to continue to improve, as he has each year since entering the league.
There is plenty more to discuss here, including the pass distribution percentages which are very similar from year to year. Check out more stuff like this in the PFF Fantasy Guide, and please feel free to join in the discussion below.
