Yasinskas does it to Falcons again

James Varney's Friday article detailing the Falcons refusal to allow the use Atlanta's logo by the Saints has drawn the ire of ESPN poodle, Pat Yasinskas. In a Saturday morning blog post Pat asks if the Saints - Falcons rivalry has gone too far?

The Saints unveiled a statue of former player Steve Gleason. Titled "Rebirth" the statue shows Gleason's block of Mike Koenen's punt in the first post - Katrina (here we go again) game in the Superdome. Yasinskas writes that " not allowing the use of Atlanta’s logo and images might be going a bit too far"

Correct me here but doesn't the logo of the Atlanta Falcons belong to the Atlanta Falcons?

"Anyone that walks by that statue that knows anything about history knows that the punt block game against the Falcons and that Koenen, who now plays for Tampa Bay, was the punter"

History? Hell I've watched this team for 46 years. I saw that game and remember the punt but I couldn't tell you who blocked it and wasn't sure if Mike was our punter then. I'm sorry but enough of the Saints is enough! It's as if you can't read any Falcon article without it turning into a sick gathering of Saints fans and apologists. Actually the only place that it doesn't happen on a regular basis is here at the Falcoholic.

A good play but a statue?
