DOL shared a must-read Q and A with Mike Smith this evening. There are several juicy nuggets in there, so make sure you read it over, but I found Smitty's comments about Matt Ryan in particular very reassuring.

He was the first guy in the weight room this offseason. I think he took somewhere between two or three weeks off before he popped back up here in the building. When you have your quarterback as the first guy in I think that’s a positive thing. It’s funny how other guys started to trickle in when he came in.

Matt may not be the most talented QB in the game. He may be the benchmark for franchise quarterbacks and nothing more. He may have a ridiculously smooth face because Gilette is the best a man can get. But he's a hard worker, a very hard worker. Breaking news? Not so much. But it's nice to hear.
