Ah, technology. I have written and attempted to schedule a post breaking down the defensive position battles we can expect to see in training camp twice, and twice the post has completely disappeared from my phone for no good reason. So, instead, I will defer to you, Falcoholic readers, to discuss the number of players competing for defensive line roster spots, the epic showdown between Akeem Demt and Lofa Tatupu for the middle linebacker position, what might happen as far as depth at safety, and what role guys like Dominique Franks and Chris Owens might play behind Brent Grimes, Asante Samuel and Dunta Robinson.
I will be at training camp as much as possible beginning July 30, and will post weekly recaps on Fridays at noon for the duration of open practices. If you want me to watch for anything specific, let me know!
