Will Michael Turner Get More Catches In The New Offense?

Stay connected for news and updates

ATLANTA, GA - NOVEMBER 20: Harry Douglas #83 and Michael Turner #33 of the Atlanta Falcons celebrate after Turner's touchdown against the Tennessee Titans at the Georgia Dome on November 20, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Falcons won 23-17. (Photo by Grant Halverson/Getty Images)

I have a longer post looking at how personnel may change with Dirk Koetter on-board, but here's a little light thinking for you this evening.

Is it possible that Michael Turner could be more of a weapon in the passing game under the new guy? Do you think his lack of catches had more to do with his large, boulder-like hands or Mike Mularkey's reluctance to use him as a pass-catcher out of the backfield?

Personally, I lean toward the former, but anything's possible. Indulge me and debate this mind-blowing topic.
