Let's kick off a little nomination process today.

I want to get a sense of who you think the breakout player for 2012 will be. Whether you're thinking it will be Matt Ryan going from one of the better young quarterbacks in the game to a force of nature or a relatively little-known guy like Spencer Adkins suddenly taking off due to injuries or the light flicking on, I want to know. I think it will be interesting to see which nominees come up.

Note that we can be talking about any player, but the scenario needs to be one of those two: An already terrific player smashing into the stratosphere, or a player who hasn't had much success suddenly becoming a terrific player. It's your choice.
