Confirming my suspicions, Mike Nolan has said that he doesn't see safety depth. That probably includes Faulcon in mini camps, but if any of you are rooting for Faulcon to be a Falcon, this may be an opportunity for him to shine.
It's a part of this article written by DOL, and it certainly sounds to me like Faulcon has as legitimate a chance as anyone to make the team at safety. Shann Schillinger isn't particularly special and James Sanders has left us, if I'm not mistaken. This leaves good ol' Faulcon a shot to make the team.
Mike Nolan also says we will be using the 3-4 at times (no surprise there, but freakin' awesome) which basically means our defense is going to be the second coming of that wall of fire you have to run away from in a handful of video games.
All in all, it's some good news for the supporters of Mr. Faulcon (how's he doing, by the way?) and Nolan's defense is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Hooray!
