Hey guys, I have a couple of good reads from John Manasso, a writer over at Fox Sports South and probably a secret Falcons fan (I won't tell!)
First, Akeem Dent shows improvement. This is a good read because it shows that Dent is getting a chance to earn his spot on the team. One of his biggest mentors has actually been Lofa Tatupu, his main competition at the MLB spot. It's nice to see Tatupu be willing to teach one of the younger guys what the game is like at an All-Pro level.
That's one thing that I've always liked about this team: everyone that has been brought in has been a great teammate and willing to help each other learn and progress. It's a real nice change from some of the bad things you see and hear around the league.
Second, the Falcons are set to address particular position needs. The article mostly focuses on the tight end questions that we haven't quite resolved and also addresses Snelling's opinion on the screen pass, which of course he's gonna like. He likes to do pretty ridiculous things when he has the football.
Anywho, there's a couple of good reads for you this evening. Feel free to discuss that or how much you like underwater basket weaving in the comments!
