So there seems to be plenty of talk about the Falcons releasing Sam Baker to create more cap space or because he had one bad year (well actually, it was terrible). The fact of the matter is that he will not be going anywhere. All you fools clamoring for his release are irrational idiots( yea I said it, it doesn't really matter if your feelings were hurt). Here are three main reasons why he WILL BE STAYING in the Atl
1.He is only 26 years old (As dumb as it may sound age does play a MAJOR deciding factor on players)
2. He only had one bad year after three decent ones
3. He was a 1st round pick, and still has ALOT of potential
So as you can see at this point cutting him would actually be counter-productive The only way for Baker to go is up. If a player in the NFL was cut every time he had an off year.....well things wouldn't be pretty
