Jonathan Stewart

I know that this is a long way off, but I am one of those that does not fully believe in Turner this year unless his carries are dropped significantly. Now that we have Snelling for a couple years and have Quizz as our scat we really only need Turners replacement for a well rounded back field. This is where Jonathan Stewart comes in. After this season, his rookie contract runs out. Carolina also just signed Mike Tolbert to a 5 year deal which could signal that they have no intention of bringing back Stewart considering that these two backs run similarly. I think we should make a play for him next year, or even this year as I just read a report on ESPN saying he may be on the trading block after Tolbert's signing. Hes been in the league 4 years, but much like Turner when we got him, he split carries with another back so his legs still have some mileage on them. After seeing him run all over Atlanta a couple times, I would love to see him in the black and red. Any thoughts on this? Any other backs that we should target instead?
