Can TO Help Bring a Superbowl Ring to Atlanta?
Let's do a little speculating in saying that TO looks good in the arena league. Also pending he is over being a diva.
He is always in amazing shape, especially for his age. He was good in Dallas. After he left, they got worse or stayed the same. Clearly he wasn't the reason they weren't winning. Good season in Buffalo. Better season in Cincinnati. He could line up in a #3 WR/TE role similar to that of Gronk, Graham, Hernandez, Davis, Finley, etc. I really doubt the #3 CB on a team can effectively cover TO, and TO can outrun any linebacker if he gets loose. Honestly, how do you line up against Roddy White, Julio Jones, Terrell Owens, Tony Gonzalez, Jacquizz Rodgers?
I imagine we could sign TO for fairly cheap. One year deal with ability to cut at any time with no further cost. I think he really wants to come back and finish out his career. Get a couple more milestones, win a championship, and go out on top.
Please share your opinions. I really doubt many people are going to agree with me, but I am interested to see the response.

No one disputes TO’s productivity or athleticism. It’s his immaturity and antics that no one wants to deal with. This is the same guy that openly complained that Romo wasn’t passing to him enough (despite being the top target in the league that year) or insinuated that Jeff Garcia was gay.
Judging from recent interviews, that maturity level hasn’t changed, especially for the better. So no, I don’t think he’d do anything to help Atlanta, let alone increase our chances of winning the Super Bowl.
Every year the TO question pops up
Here is my question, how many Super Bowl rings does TO currently have? That is how many he would help bring to ATL.
Also, TO was not that good in DAL. He ran bad routes and dropped a large number of passes.
I'll Rec this for discussion purposes
It’s never, ever going to happen. He’s got a long history of attitude problems and declining skills, and the Falcons generally prefer to stock the depth chart with young talent.
There’s a reason he didn’t play last year, and it’s not solely because he’s a diva.

The way you would deal with RW,JJ,TO,TG etc etc etc
is the same way its being done now.You push the interior Oline into Matts face within 3 seconds after the snap. They are stepping on his feet. He’s stepping on their feet.Short arming his throws and so on.Thats the formula.Thats the scouting report. It doesn’t matter to me whether Harry catches the 40 passes or TO or some 7th round rookie draft pick.
#3WR is a 40 catch position across the league.
TO already has a deal with that girls team he signed with, that will pay him more than the NFL veterans minimum.Any decent team in the NFL has alot more to lose, than to gain from having that idiot on their roster.
I'll just leave this here

Just Say NO to TO!!
"I'd run over my own mother to win the Super Bowl." - Joe Jacoby, formerly of the Redskins
"To win, I'd run over Joe's mom too." - Matt Millen, formerly of the Raiders
"We now have exactly the same situation as we had at the start of the race, only exactly the opposite" - Murray Walker, Sportscaster
Who would be better at that role?
Or should we not even worry about it and spend money elsewhere? If so, what position do we need most to win next year? I personally don’t think we have enough money to build an elite or upper level defense. Sure we can be good, but not elite. I like Nolan and his potential, but it will take a couple of years to bring in and groom players. I say spend building an excellent OL then another weapon to fill the role I described above. Relatively cheap but effective. Something along the lines of Donald Driver, Early Draft TE, maybe Hines Ward.
I just don't think TO's that weapon
His best days are behind him, and if he’s not getting the ball, he’s going to be a headache. I see nothing in his history that suggests otherwise.
I’d rather push for a guy like Robert Meachem or Mario Manningham, a deep threat with speed and some upside. Driver, Ward and Owens are all past their due dates, in my mind.
I agree that I’d like to have one more weapon. We just differ on who that would be.

I think it says it all....
that he’s had to take a job in the Indoor Football League, and that he held a workout last year that not a single team attended. He was worth it to some teams when the skill was there, but at 39, I doubt it is. He wouldn’t catch many balls in this offense and he is most definitely not the guy to mentor the younger guys. Driver or Hines Ward? If we can get one of them cheap, absolutely.

On Yahoo! Sports
there is a similar article about Randy Moss coming to ATL.
When did ATL suddenly become a WR graveyard?
Right when we allowed
Joe Horn, Ashley Lelie, and Marty Booker grace the field in the Red & Black.

It’s not like any of them played significant rolls.
Sidenote, has anyone watched Moss’ stream channel lately? Pretty funny guy.

It's not about them playing significant roles
it’s more about them taking a spot on the roster and getting paid.
Joe Horn did one great thin while with ATL. He helped turn Roddy into the WR he is today. Those are Roddy’s words, not mine.
He can if he's hired by the NFL as a delivery boy.

I'd take Hines ward over any old ass receiver on the market.
