With two teams having home field advantage clinchable, and the NFC East at a three way tie, week 16 is going to be very exciting. Here's a list of all the NFC games affecting the playoffs and who you (in my opinion) should root for.
Falcons-Lioms: This needs no explanation. Falcons.
Titans-Packers: Gotta be Titans here. I've said in some comments how Green Bay is the last team I want to face in the playoffs. If they can drop to the 3 seed, and they win in the wild card, they'll have to play one game on the road rather than everyone (except for us)having to go through Green Bay where it's nearly impossible to win this time of year.
Vikings-Texans: I'm a little torn on this one. I want the Vikings to sneak into the playoffs because that's a team I know Atlanta could beat, but at the same time, they'd be playing either SanFran or Green Bay first, and part of me wants the toughest opponent possible to be able to knock them out. But then again, the Hawks beat the Saints as "the worst team to ever make the playoffs" a couple of years ago. I'm gonna go with the Vikings.
Redskins-Eagles: Redskins. Again, this is another team I know Atlanta can beat (we already beat them at their place by 14) so I would not mind seeing them at the Dome.
Saints-Cowboys: Cowboys. Same reason as the Redskins game, and they're playing the Saints.
Giants-Ravens: Ravens. I know we just destroyed the Giants but regardless, this is still not a team I want to face again.
49ers-Seahawks: Both of these team are set up to beat Atlanta. Scrambling, playmaker QBs, strong running backs, and ferocious pass rushers. I'm gonna have to root for the Hawks here though, mainly because of the innexperience and the fact that they have been very poor on the road (3-5) beating only one team with a winning record, the Bears.
Bears-Cardinals: Cardinals. Yes the Bears are in somewhat of a downward spiral, but still a dangerous team. It may sound like I'm scared, but I want the easiest road to the Super Bowl possible. Who doesn't?
Well, thats my two cents. Please tell me why you agree or disagree in the comments below!
