The Beerman and Konz

Thank goodness for these guys stepping in and playing well. Dave said the O-Line had more than a few miscues, but that's to be expected I guess going up against a historic pass rusher in Ware. Now leaving him totally free to tattoo Matt is another subject, but I'm sure the stats will show that Konz once again did a fine job. Hell, we had a 100 yard rusher and 2 100 yard receivers. I'd say the Line performed on the plays it needed to. I don't care if we ever see Reynolds ever again. And Biermann, the guy is just a player. He doesn't have to have the stats, his residual effect on the game is twice that of Ray. How many snaps did Edwards play, because I don't remember seeing him at all at DE anyway. And I love it. Edwards and Reynolds aren't "Falcons" anyway. They're just two guys Dimitroff whiffed on. We're much better served when we get our drafted homegrown guys on the field. With the exception of Robinson, Abe, Samuel, and Tony G, nothing makes me happier than to see all of our impact players develop their careers in our system and flourish to this point. Kudos to Coach Smith plugging the proper guys in at the right time. Ray has had many chances, he may not get another one. It's tough when you lose your slot to injury, but that's how it goes, Reynolds. Konz is more versatile and the future. On to New Orleans with our ever-improving squad.
