Mock Draft: Numero Dos

Back once again to deliver another mock draft. Don't mind the spanish I just like a little change from time to time or as Hulk would say "CHANGE GOOD." As of right now we are 8-1, a top of our division, a top of our conference, and tied for best record in the league with the Texans. Also the sky is falling, we suck, we're cursed, yada yada yada. We have a pretty solid team. Elite if you ask me at the skill positions but mediocre in the trenches. It's kinda hard winning a ring if you aren't good in the trenches. Lucky for us we have a great GM..... and not that many holes to fill. So here we go.

Rd 1: Pick 1: Damontre Moore/DE/OLB/Miss St.: This was a tough choice for me. I could see the FO going with someone like Barret Jones from Bama and picking up a DE in the 2nd. Personally I wouldn't mind it but if Moore available I say go for it. He is more tailored for a 3-4 defense but I'm sure Nolan can use him in a similiar fashion like how he uses Beerman now. Moore has good spped and burst off the line. He will be tough to match up against one on one. He also is solid in the run game and has a great motor. Right now he leads the SEC in sacks and TFL.

RD 2: Pick 2: Larry Warford/OG/UK: This would be a steal for us. Warford is an underrated prospect who is slightly under Cooper, Jones, and Warmack. He is fit 6-3, 343 lbs. and has underrated mobility. He has shut down some top DT's as well this season. Shutting down former MAC defensive player of the year Roosevelt Nix and Florida's Shariff Floyd. He is also a great pass blocker. I think with Konz moving to center the right guard position is wide open and Warford would be a great fit there.

No videos for Warford.

RD 3: Pick 3: Ryan Swope/WR/Texas A&M: I know, I know. Another receiver? Yes. Only because of his value here. I think he is a poor man's Jordy Nelson. I think HD is a fine slot receiver I just think Swope has more potential. I am a big BPA guy so I'm using it here. Swope was the most productive WR for the Aggies when Tannehill was there. He has slowed down a bit this season but still has great hands, underrated speed, and swiftness coming out of his breaks. Solid route runner who could become MR need favorite target with TG retiring.

RD 4: Pick 4: Dennis Johnson/RB/Ark.: Think Quizz but quicker. MT has to go. I think it's becoming more apparent that he has lost a step. He does more harm than good IMO. I think Snells and Ewing(when he returns) can replace MT position as the "power back." That leaves the scat back. Quizz is awesome but he does lack break away speed. This is where Johnson comes in. He is just as shifty as Quizz and he can catch out the backfield. He also is an excellent returner. I know some might not like the running back by commitee but I think we're transitioning to that phase anyway. Might as well be stacked there.

RD 5: Pick 5: Kyle Juszcyk/TE/Harvard: Reminds me of Dallas Clark with his size and hands. Almost catches everything thrown his way. Also a underrated blocker. With Gonzo being gone I highly doubt we wait this long to pick up a TE but if we do go to other positions he could be a late round steal.
