We got schooled on how to play well practiced-offensive effective-yard gaining-points scoring-football. In other words we just got shown how to win games.
Our D played its butt off. Hats off to them.
Uhmm...... Yeah
Here are the Negatives:
We gained only what i believe was 160ish yard offensively? (haven't checked the stats, too mad for that)
Ryan had a decent pocket most of the game, except for 2 sacks and 5 flush outs
The predator single handledy kept us in the game for the first half. But will most likely leave thanks to our great capabilty of not making it further than the first round
Offensive calls were good at best
Roddy had maybe 3 receptions, Julio 4, Gonzales 2 (in garbage time), and Turner 70-something yds in 13+ carries
Mike Smith obviously does not learn from his own mistakes (cough cough Saints game) and refuses to score points even when it would bring us the lead
Mike Mularkey... well yeah
Is just another year being a Falcons fan... In my best representation of a Plato speech, "the arms are just an image of the head, and if the arms don't move the head must be fixed" An overhaul of this team is needed if we want to be better than the runner-up every time. hell if we want to win a ring. Lets remember what the big picture is. We need a true play caller to jump start Matty Ice and its new weapons.
