Fleeting thoughts of failure.

Alright before I way put anything out there I would like to state that I believe that all the changes the FO has made in the past two years have been for the benefit of the organization and I have faith in my team. Now I was wondering what everybody thinks about the ever looming worst case scenario. Right now we are to far from the next regular season to tell what our team will look like, but I feel that the team as a whole has followed through with enough decisive action to start wondering..... what if it all goes wrong? The question is what do you think will could cause problems next season. I'll start it out. I think if the next season doesn't go as planned Coach Smith will have a big arrow over his head. The offensive and defensive coordinators will be more than likely bringing in new ideas and schemes, but how likely is it that Coach Smith will approve on these ideas? I also think our lack of draft picks will come back to bite us and the talent we select might not be on par for our expectations. No new blood showing us what JJ showed us last season (I still hold that JJ was worth every pick). If these things go south I say our best possible record will be 8-8. Not making the playoffs and we will be left to rebuild another consecutive year. So wath do you think. What might the worst case scenario.

Could happen, but probably better.

I suggest we pick up a new offensive linemen or two, and with our new schemes our offense does as well or better than last year.

I also suggest that simply with Nolan we will improve, but we should also get an impact player or two, probably on the line and with our line backers we will be solid.

Give us a fumble or two and we have a good season, maybe great. This squad is not that far off. I believe coaching held us back at this point and we seemed to fix that.

Do understand we have many free agents, but I believe in Dimitroff’s ability to go get players. We have improved since he has been here.

Go Falcons.
