NFC South Predictions- Participate!

Hey guys, I'm going to be posting a question like this on all the SB Sites so I can create a giant, fan made, NFL prediction thing.I'm doing it by division so whatever team is in what ever division will get their post accordingly. I'm going to leave a prediction for all the divisions but I'm counting what you guys say. There will be a poll at the bottom and the poll will have every single possible record for your team, please participate and choose what you think. Please also leave a comment saying what you think the division standings will be. Thank you all and please participate, Falcoholic, CSC, Cat Scratch, and Bucs Nation.

Thank you,

Matt

Going out on a limb here

1. Falcons
2. Carolina
3. Saints
4. Bucs

The Saints will take a hit because of their defensive age, loosing key free agents, and very little draft picks. Their offense will still be potent, but I think that the good teams have figured out how to beat them with a strong D Line and disciplined coverage from the secondary. I also think that Carolina takes one from them at home with a much, much better defense despite a Sophomore slump from Newton. And the Bucs are just terrible. All in all however, I see this being, once again, one of the strongest divisions in football.

lol its not like they had a good d in the first place

The saints are built as a shoot-out team. doesn’t matter how much their opponent scores, they’ll match it. Plus if they might get spags, which would be an improvement over GW.

“but I think that the good teams have figured out how to beat them with a strong D Line and disciplined coverage from the secondary”

they were playing one of the best D’s in the NFL, and turned it over 5 times. it’s amazing that they had a chance at all to win the game. if the saints and niners rematched, I would have my money on the saints.

Simple for me

Carolina: 13-3
Saints: 11-5
Falcons: 10-6
Bucs: 2-14

Yes, I am a Falcons fan. But I think we start off the season 3-6, then win the last 7 to go into the playoffs and make it to the NFC champ game.

Lots of stuff to get used to, but when it clicks, we’ll look GOOOOOOOOD.

Carolina won't make that leap

Cam had an amazing rookie season, for sure, but he will likely hit the sophomore slump. It started showing at the end of the year, as teams figured out how to defend the kid. I do think they’ll have a better record, but nowhere near 13-3. I think they may get to 8-8.

The Bucs are bad, but they won’t be that bad. I’m thinking 6-10.

I can see the Saints at 11-5, although I don’t think the addition of Spags alone will help their defense. They have an aging defense and I think our personnel is stronger on that side of the ball. Plus, with 3 key offensive pieces going into free agency, they will see some shake-up.

As for our birds, I think they are looking at either 10-6 or 11-5.

Things get interesting next year.

Its hard to call with the Saints most likely being more predictable on offense but maybe stepping up on defense. The Panthers will take a large step forward and Cam Newton will stay on track as well as the defense. Tampa Bay falls to crap. Everybody sees that one coming. Finally the Falcons become more dynamic, but maybe not more explosive, on offense and a large step forward on defense. So here it is:
Falcons: 11-5
Saints:10-6
Panthers: 8-8
Tampa Bay: 4-12
