Not too worried

The guy that scared me on that team doesn’t play on the defense, and I’m sure Nolan will have something for him when we meet next season. Spags has nothing to work with on that defense. Eventually they might get some weapons on D, but spags will probably be a HC by then.

Like you said

they don’t have the personnel to run a Spags D yet. And they traded away their first round pick like we did.

But their defense will still be better this year I feel. But the same can be said about our defense, and offense.

exactly my point

We both got solid d coordinators, difference is that we have the players to get the job done. I see us being a lower top 10. Or maybe that’s wishful thinking. Either way our D will definitely be berets than theirs. What I’m interested to see is how much our O improves.

Roman Harper will be greatly exposed when he isn't blitzing

It will be interesting to see how their bigger ends hold up in the system as well. Funny to see the two biggest coordinators both signing with NFC South rivals.

That said, Spags is too good to make any defense worse

and Gregg Willaims’ D already pissed me off enough. Still more scared of the offence, but I’d rather they hired like…a plank of wood than Spags. Cause Spags is just very, very good.

That D is aging

A lot of players on that defense are getting toward the end of their careers. If we can get a physical O line for next year and give our new and improved offense some time to work then Spags will be of no concern.

We Got

The better DC in my opinion. I’ll take a DC with 14 years of proven experience over someone with just 2. Spags was only DC for NYG for 2 years, just an assistant with the Eagles coaching DB’s if memory serves.
