Q&A Falcoholic Style
Simply who will be the next offensive line and QB coaches? Big issues for us right now. Especially at offensive line. Are there any QB coaches that might've been involved with mentoring Rodgers or Brady? I know a lot of Falcons fans have been keeping their ears and eyes open and I am hoping I might be able to get in on who the viable people are for the prospective positions. Please include who and why.

Hard to say
for one, so often the position coaches are names that might not be well known. And the best position coaches out there probably feel they’re deserving of OC or DC (if they’re defensive coaches) positions.

Not really sure about these
but very keen to learn from somebody who knows the college coaching or NFL line coaching world quite well. Rec’d so more people see it hopefully.

Big stuff could come out of these guys
I was hoping the site might be able to provide some info but with the hiring of Nolan and DK everything is being focused on them. These are smaller roles on the coaching staff but for our team next year it could be a vital part of us getting that first playoff win in the new era.

How bout we kill 2 birds with 1 stone
Jeff Jagodzinski. If that name sounds familiar it’s because he used to coach MR at BC. Another interesting fact is he also coached the Falcons online in 2001 under Alex Gibbs.
Who is also the architect of the zone-blocking scheme. Which probably would mean they would need to get a more athletic back. He is currently coaching a team in the UFL. I’m sure a pay raise and a job in the big leagues he would gladly accept.
So he knows MR and MR is comfortable with him. Plus he coached here before so let’s sign him.

don't love the idea of Jeff Jagodzinski
as a qb coach. While I’m sure he’s a great mentor and everything like that, I’m very much against the idea of having the same coach as in college. In my head, the college coach is aware of the limitations of ryan when ryan was at BC.

Personnel are not compatible with zone blocking schemes
Weve spent the last 4 years unwinding the zone blocking personnel that we had before TD and Coach Smith. And rightly, in my opinion, moved toward power running oline personnel.Lets not be envious of the varying strengths and styles of other teams and stick to the original plans for construct of the Falcons. The plan is still the right one.The line of scrimmage personnel are still somewhat lacking on both sides of the ball.
After some research (Google)
I got to some rumor mill sites that say Paul Dunn might be the next offensive line coach. He was coach Boudreau’s assistant. Nothing on the quarterbacks coach though. I know its not groundbreaking but I guess looking for new talent on the lower levels was not in the playbook for the Falcons. Wonder what that means for the o-line next year?
