Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Time for the Burner to cool his jets.

I think the world of Michael Turner and want him to remain a Falcon for many more years. At the same time...

Star-divide

...I want us to take more of the load off of his shoulders. I envision him following the path of Jerome Bettis. In the final 4 or 5 years of Bettis' carrier he carried the rock no more than 250 times a season and was used primarily used as a red zone threat. Turner could be that guy for us. Also I'd like to see him continue to up his game by improving as a receiving threat. Who knows, that formula could get him a Super Bowl ring.

You should have put this as a fan shot but on another note

I agree with you, we should give snaps the Snell, and primarily the Quizzer. This team isn’t going to reach it’s potential without someone who can consistently get 20+ yard runs and a speedy guy like Quizz can do it. Turner used to but now he only does it against bad Run D or when our OL does good which they rarely do…

I think that's what need to happens if he's sticking around

If you really think Jacquizz Rodgers can be a two-or-three down guy, prove it. Give him the rock in a 40/60 or even 50/50 split with Turner.

I think

Turner and Quiz can be used in the backfield at the same time personally. They can both block. and if they can both catch that creates a lot of options. But no creative stuff like that from Mularkey, maybe we will see some from the next guy.

I agree.

We need to use the Quizzer as a true change of pace back. Smash em with Turner and Snelling, gash em with Quizz.

Braves.
Falcons.
Gamecocks.

Snelling is a underrated runner

To me he is the most complete back we have. IMO he should be starting over MT. He has the power, agility, and he can catch out the back field. If anything it should be 33% Snelling, 33% Quizz 34% MT.
