I'll start out with the dreaded stats. Numbers do lie in football, but they are a good indicater on how your team is doing. so:
Total Offense:
Atlanta Falcons- 19th overall: 60 over all points in 3 games with 193 yards per game.
Seattle Seahawks- 31st overall: 30 points in 3 games with 176 yards per game.
1st in the league is the Patriots with 104 points in 3 games with 540.3 yards per game.
Total Defense:
Atlanta Falcons- 22nd overall: 77 points against in 3 games with 199 yards per game.
Seattle Seahawks- 10th overall: 67 points against in 3 games with 190 yards per game.
1st in the league is the Titans with 43 points against in 3 games with 188 yards per game.
Biggest diffrence for me is punting; Atlanta is (surprisingly) 13th with an average of 35.7 yards per punt, but the Seahawks are 1st with 47.3 yards per punt. It's probably due to their number of punts which is 23 versus our 15 but better none the less. Also Atlanta is tied for 3rd with Arizona and Detroit for interceptions standing at 4, only one less than the tie for 1st, both of whom have 5. Lastly the Falcons have 13 sacks this season which is good for 30th in the league. Tied for the most sacks in the league at 14 is the Bears and, you guessed it, the Seahawks.
What does all this mean....NOTHING. Any game can go any way. In my eyes it means we will have terrible field position every time we stop them, but that is just a chance to rack up some "explosive" plays on them. The Falcons can dominate if they fix a few areas. My ending prediction 35-14, Falcons over Seahawks.
