Oh The Month Of October

The month of October will be make or break for our Falcons. With games against Seattle, Green Bay, Carolina, and Detroit. The way this season has unfolded it could be a very intersting month. I will especially be watching the Green Bay game because I have a feeling the Falcons have had that game on their minds since the end of last season. The way it looks right now we have two very winnable games and two very losable games. The situation we have put ourselves in doesn't leave much room for error and if we can pull off the two hardest games (Green Bay, and Detroit) we will be back on track to what we had in mind, as far as where we expected the teams level of play to be. All the games count equally and nobody will think we will be winning the majority of them. I don't think I am going out on a limb if I say if we can take October we will be back on track as a team. The only thing October won't have for us is the much beloved New Orleans game. Playing teams like Green Bay and Detroit will raise our level of play and ready us for the Saints. Who I hate to admit are looking solid this year. Next week will be the Seahawks and as much as any team in the NFL is deserving of a little credit I think this could be a good warm-up exercise for Green Bay (hell their own fans are calling them soft this year). We need some momentum and sadly a little confidence before playing a team as good as Green Bay. Take it one game at a time, but for a fan the whole month of October is looking pretty exciting. I can't wait until next Sunday ( if not just to see something positive from the team).
