Not bad, but...
No way they carry that many DEs. Stephens is done and depending on game 3 coming up, either Sidbury is dropped or Matthews is moved to the practice squad for another year of development. Alternately, Chauncey may be a cap casualty if Matthews and Sid have great showings.
I like him, but I don’t see Brandyn Harvey making the squad. His best bet is making the practice squad at this point. His best bet for the regular roster is an injury to a starter.
Not sold on Carlton Powell making it either.
I think they’ll carry one more RB on the roster, just because of the injuries associated with that position. If I had to take a pick, I’d say Smith. I also believe Bear has a good chance of making the roster as a Special Teams guy, given his impressive play this preseason. I think he finally has the attention of the squad and his work ethic is very much in line with the new Falcon standard.
Concerned
I can’t say I’d be excited about the prospect of going into the season without a kicker, punter or long snapper. But I guess it does make some sense – Coach Smith loves to go for it on 4th downs and Mularkey has a great history of successful 2-point conversions dating back to his Steelers days. Not sure what we’ll do about kickoffs though…

I was just going to comment on that
So while I like your depth chart, I think we put Bryant, Zelenka, and Bosher on there. Which means we must get rid of 3…most likely one of our DEs (Chauncey Davis or Emmanuel Stephens), Carlton Powell, and Brandyn Harvey. Maybe we roll with only two quarterbacks, which gives us an extra slot for Harvey or Stephens.
We'll play 3 QB's
we have for the last 2 years and I don’t see why they would change that now. Also i think we will hold 4 RB’s. We did last year so I think there is a chance to do that again
Please read Turner_The_Burner and my Best case/Worst case analysis of the upcoming week
Also any reason for Abraham
Playing LE and Edwards playing RE seeing as their positions are the opposite way
Please read Turner_The_Burner and my Best case/Worst case analysis of the upcoming week
He probably just got it backwards by mistake
good catch though
know what you believe in and why you believe in it
Just a few changes.
Add in the special teams guys like Bosher, Bryant , and ZZelenka, and you’ll have to cut 3. I see Stephans, Powell and Harvey gone. Then I say we add Woods, and we cut either Davis/Sidbury. FO could cut both, in order to add depth at RB and LB. Plus with Davis’s high salary and him not producing at that level and he could be a cap casualty anyways.
" Ryan back to pass, He throws it long, he's going deep to Julio on his first snap! HE CAUGHT IT, HE CAUGHT IT! JJ's dragging the safety into the endzone with him! TOUCHDOWN FALCONS! TOUCHDOWN JULIO JONES!! HIS FIRST ONE IN THE NFL, AND I GOT A FEELING THE FIRST OF MANY MANY MORE TO COME FOLKS!! I GOTTA SAY IT FOLKS - JJ......... IS.......... DY - NO - MITE!!
