We've picked up a lot of new readers in the last few months, so I thought it would be a good time to poll you all on who your favorite Atlanta Falcon is.

I'm not talking about historically. I'm talking about current Falcons who are on the team as we speak. If you want to get Thor Merrow in as an answer, you might want to hurry. No reason.

So just pick your favorite Falcon and tell us a little bit about why. No essays required, though they are of course welcome.

Mine? It's hard to pick just one, of course, but I still love Curtis Lofton. He's a Pro Bowl-caliber linebacker, a natural leader on the field and a good dude off of it. Those who are familiar with my abiding love for Jessie Tuggle will get the sense that I gravitate toward linebackers, and you would be right.
