SI's and NBC's Petey King has his Falcon training report posted. It's comprised of two parts, video and print. He also has a video with John Parker Wilson so be sure to catch that also. King attempts to focus on three questions in his visit.
1. Can Ray Edwards provide enough pass rush to get the Falcons deep into the playoffs? He says that "He had 26.5 sacks over the last four years, and if he gets 26.5 over the next four, Falcon fans will likely consider him a disappointment" Thanks but let us decide that if you would please sir.
2. Julio Jones. King, like most is very impressed with Julio. "I don't care about stats,'' he said. "I never will. I just want to win.'' is the Jones quote. Are we sure he's a WR? Why do I get the feeling that Roddy has signed his last Falcon contract?
3.He "be loving up" on Jaquizz. Despite my general disdain for King this could be really good for Rodgers and the Falcons. There is no bad press, unless it's bad press.
Of course he goes to the two subjects we'll tire of before the first month is over. "The emotional home reunion" referring to the return of the QB whom shall not be named and what he calls "Matt Ryan gets to relive his Tramon Williams nightmare in week five, when the Packers return to the Georgia Dome." Sorry about the quotes guys but I can't get block quote to work for me. It's why I always give you
