First let me start by saying, I am a dedicated Chiefs fan, and hate the Falcons for taking away our Tony G (not really). The Falcons are very very close in my opinion. I really wanted the Chiefs to trade up and take Jones, and maybe the reason ATL gave up so much was because they were out bidding Pioli to make the move. JJ is going to be an absolute beast. He has a great mentallity to succeed. I can't wait to see him on the field.
Anyways I spend lots of time daydreaming about football. Which team could do this, which team could that. I do it a lot, and I've come to the conclusion, that I believe ATL needs one FA to win SB 46.....Nnamdi.
I already read the post thats on here about it, and understand where most of the fans are coming from with the financial view, but I think some people ar missing one valuable asset Nnamdi brings....knowledge. Nnamdi would not only be a great move for the here and now, but also for the there and later. Nnamdi would bring a great deal of knowledge and experience for guys like Grimes. Imagine how good Grimes could get learning under Nnamdi. I'm not sure what kind of contract Nnamdi is looking for, but I would try and sign him to a 2 year 28 Mil. I think that's a very good deal. That would get the big deal off the salary cap in time to sign a lot of big names coming into contract years soon, and would give the younger DBs time to learn under him, while also (imo) getting to the SB. I personally think ATL is that one dominate defensive piece away from being a SB team. Nnamdi is pretty much a once in a lifetime type FA. The most dominating CB in the NFL rarely hits the market. Anwyas leme know what you guys think? Did I sway you? or were you already on the bandwagon?
