I know you're probably reading this right now fingers ready for a snide comment on how "this guy" should have a little better knowledge of our new draft pick's position (and HD's) before attempting a fanpost. Let me try to dispel those thoughts after the jump.

I know HD is a slot receiver, and back up PR/KR. I know Rodgers is a RB.

Rodgers also seems to be capable of KR/PR duties, and may be used as more than a simple RB. He has great hands from all accounts, and has that "shifty" quality (think Warrick Dunn) that sometimes isn't as measurable with standard combine drills but shows up in results. 

My thoughts are that he can be the back-up KR/PR immediately, and in this copy-cat league, I can see Smith/Mularkey using him as a "smaller Reggie Bush" in the passing game. That would open the door to a trade of HD to recoup a (probably higher than original) 4th round pick next year. Getting Jones made this all possible.
