Falcons Sign GM Thomas Dimitroff to Multi-Year Extension
We all knew it was only a matter of time, but the Falcons have made sure that Thomas Dimitroff will be leading the team through the murky depths of Free Agency, the Draft, and all other personnel matters for the foreseeable future.
Coupled with Mike Smith's recent extension, we can count on continuity in the Head Coach and GM position for years to come.
So to sum up my personal feelings on the awesomeness of this news...

I don't think they've even released the details on Mike Smith's extension from a month ago
Blank and the Falcons organization seem to like keeping staff signings low key with little fanfare.
Still whatever they’re paying them, they’ve earned it.
As if this wasn't the most absolute thing in the universe.
It had to happen.

The ranks of the NFL Owners are full of thieves who would sell their souls if it brought them success
So I’m glad this got done sooner rather than later. We can survive position coaches and assistants getting poached, but Smith and Dimitroff are the foundation of current success. Its one more worry to forget about now that they are locked up long term.
