Troy WR Jerrel Jernigan Schedules Private Workout With Falcons
He'll be joined by former Troy running back DuJuan Harris next week. Jernigan is considered one of the better receiver prospects in the draft, though he clocks in at a diminutive 5'9". Interesting fit for the Falcons.

seems like he wouldnt be the worst pick for us.
although torrey smith, and lenoard hankerson might be a little better. IF ne one says something about titus young he is projected to go late in the second. no more non sence about picking him in the first.

As I once said during a night of drunken "fresstyling"
“I don’t need a bed, I can sleep when I die” lol

Just as most of us suspected
The 1st round pick will be someone in the trenches, DE or OT. I still wish I could see Blalock and Clabo at the OG spots with another 1st round OT that can play both sides of the line. Of course if that happened I would prefer a FA DE so that we can get a very good WR in the 2nd round.
If those 3 things (draft OT, draft WR, and FA DE) happen, I would be completely happy because we would set ourselves up for years to come.
I'm not forgetting about Mike Johnson. He can cross train behind McClure
I found this on AJC.com in a Q&A session from last year:
Q: Describe your style of play?
A: "I play with a good pad level. I’m able to get a lot of movement up front. I make a lot of holes and I feel like I’m versatile. I can play center, guard or tackle, where ever they want me to play. I’m willing to work hard and do that. I’m just going to get in there and bust my butt. It’s one of those things where I feel blessed right now because I’m so happy. It’s going to take a lot of hard work and that’s one thing that I am, a harder worker. This is a match made in heaven."
Q: How much center have you played?
A: "I’ve never actually played it in a game, but these last few months I have been working there a lot. I’ve been working out with Dan LeFevour and Sam Bradford and they’ve been wanting to take snaps from a center and I’ve been wanting to snap. So it was kind of a good matchup. It’s something that I can continue to work on. If they want me to do it full-time, that’s what I will do."
I'd love a legit OT.
But we’ve already got a late-1st rounded in Sam Baker. I feel like OTs taken in that 25-50 range are usually overrated.
Remember to stretch before running to BVG injuries.
He is rated as the #6WR going in the second round
Honestly, I would not draft Jernigan because I would prefer a larger WR. Especially if the idea is to use him at the #2 position.
