I think the title says it all. We as a Falcon Nation, were let down by our team yesterday. This had to be the worst performance outside of the Bears game to start the season. Couldn't do jack shit at all. Receivers couldn't catch, QB overthrows, and really STUPID defensive penalties that eventually cost them the game. Give the Texans credit however for taking advantage of we gave them. In my opinion, the Falcons should of won this game, but again, the coaching staff has a major fail in game planning and play calling, and it showed. This team needs to be MORE aggressive on both sides of the ball, and simply are not doing it. The Falcons let themselves down as well, and they are well aware of it, and need to pick this thing up by the bootstraps NOW. They caught huge brakes yesterday with the Giants, Bears, Lions, and Cowboys losing, and they are still sixth in the playoff seeding, just like at the beginning of the day yesterday. They need to go out there and take care of their own business, because they can, and don't need to depend on someone else. Of course, any help is appreciated. I see comparisons between this year's team, and the Packers last year. Know what? If this team doesn't get their collective heads out of their asses, you can forget any comparisons to anything. Not even worried about the postseason right now, just concentrating on the next opponent, which are the Panthers, a team we beat eariler, and can beat them again, as long as we don't screw it up. The landscape is developing for us outthere,and better take advantage of it, or heads will roll after the season. I've gotten sick and tired of my friends teams going to the playoffs and Super Bowls every year, while I'm on the sideline wondering whether or not I will ever get a chance to actually celebrate a championship. Right now, that's a long way off.
