The Atlanta Falcons have won a lot of close games this season. Coming off the bye week, they finally thumped a team.

Admittedly, these Colts were pretty awful. They didn't even manage to score an offensive touchdown against the Falcons, managing 7 points on an interception returned for a touchdown. Otherwise, they were defensively dominant and flashed absolute brilliance on offense at points. Julio Jones and Sean Weatherspoon were particularly great.

Any way you slice it, the Falcons are now 5-3 going into a critical matchup against the New Orleans Saints. That's a damn good thing.
