One Falcon To Watch: Ray Edwards
It couldn't be anyone else.
The Falcons will bring a lot of firepower to bear on the Vikings, but this is Ray Edwards' game. He's a former Viking who has quietly been pretty good for the Falcons, but hasn't received much recognition for that. As I mentioned yesterday, having the guy who replaced him manage way more sacks has to rankle the competitive Edwards.
So I fully expect him to come amped up and make a difference in this one. The Vikings do not have a dominant offensive line by any stretch of the imagination, and Edwards has shown he's capable of getting after the passer when the matchup is right. Pair that with Christian Ponder's inexperience and he has the potential to have a great game.
Of course, the Vikings will want to avoid that, so they will undoubtedly work hard to put a stop to Edwards on the warpath. It ought to be a fun battle in the trenches to watch, at any rate.
So keep a close eye on Edwards. Who is your choice for a Falcon to watch?

great, now I'm going to have that song in my head the whole game...
Seriously, though, I’d like to see the whole D-line get some serious pressure and rack up an obscene number of sacks. You’ve got a rookie QB with a weak line, he’s missing his star RB and Edwards should be trying to show up his former team. We should get more than 4 sacks this game. If there’s ever a game where we tee off on the QB it’s this one.

Which means of course Abe will be the only one with a sack that will come in what should be garbage time but will actually be a crucial play in the game.
