The Magnificent Seven

Hi Falcoholics, It's all in the title, the last seven games of the season, four at home, three at home. We all know about what happened on Sunday, we can bitch and moan all we want to, and it's not going to change a thing. I watched the same game as everyone else. We came from behind only to lose. Not going to discuss it anymore, it's done, let's move on. I'm an optimist, and always have a positive mental attitude on life, and that's why I'm doing this post today. I also want everyone here on Falcon Planet to feel better, and get some confidence for the rest of the season, this is what I think may happen with the Falcons for the rest of the season: 11/20 Titans: Got them in the dome. They are playing some good ball right now, but they are up and down as well. Not to worried about this game. The D should be able to harrass Hasselback all game, hopefully contain Chris Johnson and limit the WR corps. Falcons are the better team in all phases. Will go over series history on Thursday. Predicted score: Falcons 31-Titans 21. Montra for the rest of the season: No turnovers, cut way back on penalties, no stupid decision making. 11/27 Vikings: Got them in the dome as well. They may be 2-8 by this date. Another winnable game, no excuses. AP is the main weapon to focus on, and Christian Ponder is pretty decent. Predicted score: Will post that on the series history. 12/4 @ Texans: Tough road match up. Thing is about this game, is what Texans team and what Falcons team is going to show up. This could be either a shoot out, or a tar pit battle. 12/11 @ Panthers: Cam Newton will put up alot of yards on us in this one, but their D is horrible against the run, hence Chris Johnson on Sunday, and the O doesn't take care of the ball. The Falcons should prevail in this one. 12/15 Jaguars: Second to last home game. Nationally televised. Again, another team who has trouble scoring points. They have ball control issues, and a decent D. Falcons again should prevail in this one. 12/26 @ Saints: Okay everyone mark the date on your calendars. This could be the game for the division title. We beat them there last season, and we can do it again. The Falcons are 2-9 against the Saints since 2006. They have trouble beating the Saints, no doubt, and until they can beat them consistently, the Falcons cannot take that next step. This game will be a proving ground for them. 1/1 Bucs: Last home game of the regular season. The Bucs are who I thought they were. The earlier loss against them hurts even more now because of Sunday. The Falcons should be able to win rather easily, I think, and hopefully they have at least one more game to play after this one. Wrap Up: The Falcons remind me of last year Packers, pissing around during the regular season, then just managing to eek out a playoff spot, then kicking everyone's butt in the postseason. We'll see happens. I can see a record between 10-6 and 12-4. This team is capable of doing almost anything, and it's up to them to get it done. Need to take things one game at a time, and take care of their own business, and if things work out like I think they will, we'll be right there when it's all said and done.
