This was a game I fully expected the Falcons to lose, and they still managed to disappoint me. Go figure.

It's becoming clear that the Falcons have yet to put together a full, four quarter effort this season, and that more than anything is responsible for the ongoing woes in Atlanta. A team that plays exceptional football for two quarters and awful football for the other two won't win many football games in the hyper-competitive NFL, and we're seeing proof of that right now.

So the Falcons are 2-3 heading into a matchup with the Carolina Panthers. All we can do now is vent and move on, so vent and move on. Recaps landing tomorrow. Be dignified until then.
