Well here we are again watching the superbowl from home isnt this familiar. I know most falcon fans are happy with our 13-3 record, #1 in the conference, winners of the NFC south this year but im not. This franchise has been here for 45 years give or take and has 1 superbowl appearance and no rings. We have a losing mentality, that lets get em next year kinda crap which is why we are where were at. We are in a prime shape to win one or even more now. We have a great coach and a great GM but we still need to make some changes. Smitty is a defensive minded coach and our defense has only improved against the run. The secondary is still suspect and we cant rush the passer. Im not going to blame Smitty but Van Gorder needs to be fired. He is better fit for D-1 than the NFL. Mike McCarthy made him and Smitty look like high school coords in the divisonal rd. The same vanilla 4-3 and nickel schemes that even fans can predict what players are blitzing. Personally i would like to see us hire Chuck Cecil or Sean McDermott to run our defense. We need some new blood in at the defense side. We have some speed but we need the ferociousness(typo) to compete for a championship. I would also like to see a 3-4 scheme mixed in with the 4-3 just to give some new looks at other teams. We also need the players which is where TD comes in to play. I like the fact that he like to draft graduates and smart players but we need playmakers on both side of the ball. I am not of fan of drafting ST only players with no upside( like schillinger). I think you can get these players as UFAs or practice squads around the league. Now the most important part the QB. I am not completely sold on Matty Ice as others but I did give him 4 yrs. He needs to win a playoff game or begin to show he can take this team deep in the playoffs. I think he improved alot this year but still made rookie mistakes in big games. A team is only elite as there QB or in some circumstances there D. We dont have a dominating defense like the steelers or ravens that can win a game when the offense sputters so were stuck for right now. For a team to be elite the players and coaches have to be on the top of their game. They have to mesh and compliment each other. Its hard to put "MY Vision" into words but ill try. Win baby just win.

And NO IM NOT saying we should be like the raiders or that arthur blank is anything like al davis i know you guys like to take things out of context.
